The massive sinkhole in Guatemala City May 31 was not the first such phenomenon in that area. Another big round hole appeared (or disappeared) in March of 2007. Of course, Fark had to do a photoshop contest using a picture of the cavernous void, and I had to participate. (I was rather Fark-ish those days) Changes in the link structure of photoslop.com resulted in my contributions disappearing from that site, but they are still here:

This recycled something I used in the only Fark Photoshop Contest I ever won.

This was so obvious I didn’t know why nobody else did it. A Fark moderator told me – Goatse references were one of the very few no-nos in their photoshop contests. I assured them the hands were not from the Infamous Original Goatse picture (why subject myself to THAT to clip out pictures of hands?!?) but it didn’t matter. I was a bad boy… even by Fark standards.
